Receta Homemade Tortillas

Ingredientes
- 4 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- A little less than 1 tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. hot water
Direcciones
- Mix together flour, baking pwdr and salt. Add in shortening and cut into flour mix with two butter knives till proportionately distributed. Add in water and mix with hands and form into a large dough ball. Then tear pcs off and form smaller dough balls (about the size of golf balls). Using a rolling pin, roll a dough ball out into a flat circle. Cook tortilla at a medium heat in a cast iron pan or possibly griddle till begins to bubble. Turn tortilla over and cook on the other side till both sides are browned. Stack tortillas as you make them to soften them up. (12 tortillas).,
