Receta Hot Mulled Apple Juice Or Cider

Ingredientes
- 1/2 gallon of apple cider
- a 1 inch knob of fresh ginger
- 1 whole lemon, cut in quarters
- 1 whole orange, cut in quarters
- 1 or possibly 2 (2") cinnamon sticks
- healthy pinch of allspice (optional)
- 5 whole cloves
Direcciones
- Put together ingredients in a non-aluminum saucepan. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 min.Strain mix and serve hot in mugs. Or possibly place in a punch bowl and let your guests help themselves.
- Makes 6 servings. VARIATION: HOT MULLED PINEAPPLE JUICE: Put together 1 (46 ounce) can unsweetened pineapple juice, 1 (2") piece cinnamon stick, 1/8 tsp grnd nutmeg, 1/8 tsp grnd allspice, dash of grnd cloves. Then follow above instructions.
