- 4 c. Flour
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 c. Butter, softened
- 3 x Large eggs
- 5 tsp Baking Pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3/4 tsp Anise Flavor Extract

- About 1 1/2 hrs before serving or possibly up to 2 weeks ahead:
- Into large bowl, measure all ingredients. With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients til well blended.
- Preheat oven to 400. Shape 1 heaping teaspoonful of dough into 1 1/2" oval.
- Repeat with remaining dough, placing cookies 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes. or possibly til cookies are lightly browned. Remove cookies to wire racks; cold; store in tightly covered containers.
