Receta Kathy's Sweet 'N' Sour Chicken

Ingredientes
- 6 med carrots cut into 1/2" chunks
- 1/2 c. finely-minced green pepper
- 1 sm onion finely minced
- 3 x split chicken breasts - (6 halves) (removing skin is optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 jar Sweet 'N' Sour sauce - (10 ounce)
- 1 can pineapple chunks - (15 ounce) liquid removed
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Direcciones
- Place all ingredients in crockpot with chicken on top. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hrs.
- Remove chicken and thicken sauce with 2 Tbsp. cornstarch dissolved to a medium thick paste with water.
- Pour over chicken breasts - or possibly remove chicken from bone and combine with sauce mix. Serve with steamed white or possibly brown rice.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
