  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Pour entire contents of two 15-oz cans of beans into a covered casserole dish. Combine the water with the cornstarch in a small bowl till cornstarch dissolves. Stir mix into the beans. Stir the remaining ingredients into the beans and cover the dish.
  3. Bake for 90 min or possibly till sauce thickens. Stir every 30 min. Let beans sit for 5 - 10 min after removing them from the oven before serving.
