Receta Kids' Smoothie

Ingredientes
- 1 x medium banana, cut into 1/2-inch pcs and frzn for 10-15 min
- 2 c. frzn blueberries (500 ml)
- 1 1/2 c. yogurt or possibly vanilla ice cream (375 ml)
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk (125 ml)
- 1/2 c. orange juice (125 ml)
- 1/4 c. honey (60 ml), or possibly sweetened to taste
Direcciones
- Add in yogurt and honey to a blender. Secure lid and blend till well incorporated. Add in the orange juice, lowfat milk, frzn banana and frzn blueberry to the yogurt mix in the blender. Secure lid and blend till smooth and frothy. Garnish with a slice of fruit, if you like. Serve immediately.
- Fruit Smoothies are a great alternative to lowfat milk shakes for kids an easy way to sneak in fruit! Make the smoothie as thick or possibly as thin as you like by adding less or possibly more lowfat milk.
