  1. Preheat oven to 375 . Grease a jelly-roll pan, 15x10". In a large bowl cream butter with electric mixer. Add in salt and vanilla. Beat in sugar till light and fluffy. Add in flour and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Pat dough with hands into prepared pan. Bake 20-25 min or possibly till lightly brown at edges. Cold in pan on wire rack. When cold, break with hands into pcs (like peanut brittle).
