Receta Kosher Cajun Dirty Rice

Ingredientes
- 2 c. Uncooked long-grain rice
- 1/2 lb Mushrooms,cooked,minced,Or possibly
- 1 can Minced mushrooms (4 ounce.) Liquid from mushrooms.
- 1/2 c. Minced bell pepper
- 1/2 lb Kosher smoked sausage Freshly minced parsley
- 2 x Onions, minced
- 1 1/2 stk margarine, pareve
- 1 c. Celery, minced
- 3 x Chicken livers
- 3 x Chicken gizzards
- 2 c. Clear chicken broth
- 1 c. Water Pepper to taste.
Direcciones
- Boil gizzards till tender (abt. 30-35 minutes.); broil livers till brown; and saute/fry sausage till slightly brown. Drain meats and dice. Saute/fry onions in heavy iron skillet till light brown. Add in bell pepper, celery, and mushrooms and cook till onions are transparent. Add in remaining ingredients except sausage. Cover and cook on low heat 40 min, stirring often. Add in sausage and place in 2-quart. chafing dish. Garnish with parsley.
