  1. Wash and soak rice for 20 mins. Boil in salted water until almost done, drain and keep aside.
  2. Heat ghee in a shallow pan, add the split grams, fenugreek, red chillies and mustard seeds.
  3. When the mustard spluters add the asafoetida and curry leaves.
  4. Throw in the tumeric and stir for a min. Add the cashew and peanuts, stir.
  5. Add the rice, salt and lemon juice.
  6. Stir to mix all together.
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander.

    Rice is our staple food and we try to make it more exciting to eat. This one would be nice to add to the variety list :)
