Receta Lemonade Meringue Pie

Ingredientes
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1/3 c. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 4 x egg yolks slightly beaten
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 6 ounce lemonade frzn concentrate thawed
- 1 x 9 inch pie shell baked meringue:
- 4 x egg whites at room temperature
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar e sugar cor starch and salt in a saucepan. r in the wat r. add in the egg yolks butter e concentrat . cook stirring constantly, over heat till t he mix comes to a full boil. let minute. coo l to lukewarm. spread in the pie
Direcciones
- Meringue: Add in the cream of tartar to the egg whites. Beat till soft peaks form. Gradually add in the sugar, one Tbsp. at a time, and continue to beat till stiff peaks form. The filling should be cold when the meringue is spread on it. Put under the broiler just long sufficient to lightly brown the meringue. Penny Halsey (ATBN65B).
