Receta Lemony Cheesecake With White Morsels

- Crust
- 6 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine, softened
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 lrg egg yolk
- 1/8 tsp salt Cheesecake
- 6 x bars (two (6-oz) boxes) White Baking Bars, broken into pcs
- 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
- 2 pkt (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp grated lemon peel
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 lrg egg whites
- 1 lrg egg

- FOR CRUST: PREHEAT oven to 350 F. Lightly grease 9 inch spring form pan.
- BEAT butter and sugar in small mixer bowl till creamy. Beat in flour, egg yolk and salt. Press mix onto bottom and 1 inch up side of prepared pan. BAKE for 14 to 16 min or possibly till crust is set.
- FOR CHEESECAKE: MICROWAVE baking bars and cream in medium, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals, stirring till smooth.
- BEAT cream cheese, lemon juice, lemon peel and salt in large mixer bowl till smooth. Gradually beat in melted baking bars. Beat in egg whites and egg. Pour into crust.
- BAKE for 35 to 40 min or possibly till edge is lightly browned. Run knife around edge of cheesecake; loosen and remove side of pan. Cold completely on wire rack. Chill for several hrs or possibly overnight. Garnish as desired.
