Receta Lois' Spice Bars

Ingredientes
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
Direcciones
- Boil the first three ingredients till raisins are soft, then cold. Mix sugar and egg together till light and fluffy. Sift together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and soda. Add in flour mix and cooled raisin mix alternately to the egg and sugar. Bake 25 min at 350 degrees. Use large jelly roll pan. Cut into bars when cooled.
