Receta Marinated Grilled Shrimp With Cajun Sprinkle

Ingredientes
- 2 lb jumbo shrimp peeled, deveined
- 1 lrg garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp. coarse salt
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 6 x lemons for garnish
- 4 Tbsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. granulated garlic
- 1 Tbsp. onion pwdr
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp. thyme
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 Tbsp. sea salt
- 1 Tbsp. freshly-grnd black pepper
Direcciones
- Mince garlic with salt, mix it with cayenne and paprika, then make into a paste with extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice.
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp in the spice mix and marinate for at least one hour and up to three before using.
- Preheat the grill to very high heat and place the shrimp individually or possibly on skewers over the warm fire. Cook for 2 to 3 min per side or possibly till the shrimp have lost their translucency. Remember - don't overcook, as they will become tough.
- For the Cajun Sprinkle: Mix and set aside. Just before the shrimp is finished cooking, sprinkle a light dusting of this spice blend over the shrimp. Do not use too much or possibly it will overwhelm the flavor of the shrimp.
- Comments: This is a great recipe for doing shrimp on your backyard gas grill. It's also a great way to do lobster tails!
