- 3 sm yellow turnips (rutabagas)
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. heavy cream
- 1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 1 dsh cloves
- 1 dsh nutmeg
- 1 dsh thyme
Direcciones
- In a pot filled with salted water, cook the turnips for 22 min or possibly till tender; drain and mash. Add in the butter and seasonings; mix well. Add in the cream, stirring till smooth. Serve immediately.
