Receta Meat Potato Quiche

Ingredientes
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 c. coarsely shredded raw potatoes
- 1 c. grated Swiss or possibly Cheddar cheese
- 3/4 c. cooked diced chicken, ham, browned bacon or possibly sausage
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1 c. evaporated lowfat milk
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In 9 inch pie pan (glass is best) stir together vegetable oil and shredded potato. Press proportionately into pie crust shape. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 min till just beginning to brown. Remove from oven. Layer on cheese, meat and onion.
- In a bowl, beat together lowfat milk, Large eggs, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with parsley flakes. Return to oven and bake at 425 degrees about 30 min or possibly till lightly browned and knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Allow to cold 5 min before cutting into wedges.
