  2. 2. Combine mashed or possibly crushed melon or possibly cantaloupe, sugar and lemon juice in a saucepan; simmer for a few min till sugar is melted.
  3. 3. Stir in gelatin and refrigeratetill mix begins to thicken.
  4. 4. Stir in vanilla and mix in whipped cream.
  5. 5. Pour into melon-shaped mold and cover.
  6. 6. Freeze till hard.
  7. Makes 6 servings.
