Receta Microwave Spicy Pepper Steak

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 pound beef chuck or possibly round steak, fat trimmed

- Cut beef across grain into strips. Mix marinade and combine well. Pour marinade over beef strips in a bowl. Marinate at room temperature for at least 30 min. Add in remaining oil to a micro-safe browning dish or possibly other micro-safe dish. Preheat oil at HIGH power for about 1 minute. Strain beef and reserve marinade. Add in beef strips to oil. Microwave, uncovered, at HIGH power for about 3 min. Add in 1/4 c. water, bell peppers, and celery. Stir to blend.
- Microwave, covered, at MEDIUM power for 6 min. Remove from oven. Stir well. Microwave at MEDIUM power for another 4-5 min. Add in onions. Stir well. Mix cornstarch and 1/2 c. water. Add in to beef mix, stirring to coat beef and vegetables. Microwave uncovered at HIGH power for about 3 min, stirring once during cooking time. Add in tomatoes. Microwave for another minute at HIGH power till dish is heated through. Add in salt and pepper to taste. Makes 4 servings.
