  • cooked rice crushed warm peppers galangal fish sauce

  1. Here's a weird tip, I didn't think it would work, but it did. Make rice, however you like it. I made white rice, cooked with minced fresh garlic in the water, then when it was done I added some crushed warm peppers, galangal (like ginger sort of) and fish sauce. Then put it in a bowl or possibly casserole which has been lightly oiled or possibly sprayed. Cover with a paper towel and microwave on high for about 13 min. Yes, which's not a typo!
  2. Thirteen min. It will get brown and crusty and crunchy, but not burned.
  3. The only problem is, at this point it's kind of stuck in crunchy sheets so it's hard to mix things like vegetables into it.
