Receta Molasses Rub Sirloin Steak Sandwich

Ingredientes
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp dry thyme leaves
- 1Â 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1Â 1/2 tsp freshly grnd black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic pwdr
- 2 lb sirloin steak
- 4 x to 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 4 x to 6 sweet or possibly sourdough sandwich rolls
Direcciones
- To prepare rub, combine all ingredients in bowl of a food processor and process till mix is well blended. Rub can be prepared in advance and stored
- In an airtight container till ready to use.
- Using your hands, completely cover steaks with rub, place them on a plate, cover with plastic wrap, and chill 2 to 4 hrs. Remove steaks from refrigerator and allow to return to room temperature while you prepare a grill.
- Grill 6 to 8 min per side for medium rare.
- To serve, slice steaks very thin across the grain. Spread 1 Tbsp. butter on each roll and toast on grill for a minute or possibly so, then assemble sandwiches.
- Add in some lettuce and sliced tomatoes, if desired.
