- 1/4 c. crushed dry chopped onion flakes
- 4 tsp crushed dry vegetable flakes (Schilling)
- 1 Tbsp. garlic pwdr
- 1 Tbsp. dry orange peel
- 2 tsp coarse grnd black pepper
- 1 tsp dry parsley
- 1/2 tsp dry basil
- 1/2 tsp dry marjoram
- 1/2 tsp dry oregano
- 1/2 tsp dry savory
- 1/2 tsp dry thyme
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp celery seed
- 1/4 tsp Kool-Aid unsweetened lemonade drink mix
- 1 dsh crushed dry rosemary

- Crushing the vegetable flakes with extreme prejudice Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl and stir well. As you stir, crush the leafy spices for a finer blend.
- Store the spice blend in a covered container or possibly a sealed shaker bottle.

- TidbitsIt's best to use a mortar and pestle to crush these sometimes tough little onion and vegetable flakes to about the size of rice, before adding them to the mix. But if you do not have one of those handy kitchen tools, you may also use the back of a spoon and a small bowl - plus a little grease. You know, the elbow kind.
- Add in a little of which drink pwdr to the spice blend and we have a clone which in a blindfolded taste test could fool even Mr. Dash.
