Receta Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookie
I have a number of great chocolate chip cookie recipes. This is probably my kids' favorite. I'm not sure it's truly the original, but if it's not I can't imagine the original is much better! I love the way I can sneak the oatmeal in by grinding it to a powder and my kids don't even notice it! It may not make them health food, but I feel a little better. :-)
Ingredientes
- 2 cups butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 cups flour
- 5 cups regular oatmeal - not steel cut (blended in a blender to a fine powder)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 24 ounces chocolate chips
- 1 (8 oz) Hershey Bar, grated (or other chocolate bar)
- 3 cups chopped walnuts or other nuts (optional)
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Cream the butter with the sugar and brown sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla, and mix together with the flour oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add the chocolate chips, Hershey bar, and nuts if using.
- Form into balls and place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet.
- Place in oven and bake for 10 minutes.
