Receta O'brien's Traditional Irish Soda Bread

Ingredientes
- 4 c. flour
- 4 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 4 Tbsp. Crisco vegetable shortening
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. raisins
- Â Â Caraway seeds optional
Direcciones
- Directions:Sift together flour, baking pwdr, salt and sugar. Fold in raisins and caraway seeds*.
- Heat shortening. Beat Large eggs and combine with lowfat milk. Mix liquids with dry mix.
- Knead on well floured surface. Shape into a round loaf and place in floured iron skillet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 50 min.
