Receta Oatmeal Almond Fudge Bars

Ingredientes
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3/4 c. Flour
- 1 c. Brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Butter plus 1 Tbsp.
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract (divided)
- 1 x Egg
- 1 c. Cornflakes finely crushed
- 1 c. Rolled oats
- 1Â 1/2 c. Toasted minced almonds
- Â Â (divided)
- 6 ounce Semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 c. Sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- Â Â (eagle brand type)
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 c. Vanilla chips
- Â Â Heat with 1 tsp. vegetab le oil
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 9 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Whisk together baking soda, salt & flour. Set aside.
- Mix together brown sugar, 1/2 c. butter & 1 tsp. vanilla & egg. Beat till creamy. Blend in flour mix slowly. Stir in cornflakes, oats & 1/2 c. almonds. Stir well. Set aside 1 c. dough. Place remaining dough into baking pan. Heat chocolate chips & 1 Tbsp. remaining butter together over low heat. Add in 1 c. almonds, condensed lowfat milk, 1 tsp. vanilla & salt. Blend well. Press this mix over cookie mix.
- Crumble reserve c. of dough over top. Bake 30 min.
- Cold & cut into bars. Drizzle with melted vanilla chips. THE DESSERT SHOW
