Ingredientes
- 2.2 lb (1 kg) onions
- 5 tbsp (75 g) butter
- 2/3 c. (150 g) powdered sugar
- 7 tbsp (10 cl) Wine vinegar
- 2 c. (50 cl) dry White wine
- 1 tbsp coriander seed, grnd
- Salt, pepper
Direcciones
- Peel and slice onions thinly
- Heat butter with sugar in casserole over low heat
- Add in onions, cover and cook for 20 to 30 minutes. Onions should be quite transparent and slightly caramelized
- Add in coriander, vinegar and white wine
- Add in salt and pepper to taste
- Cook for 30 minutes over low heat till all liquid has evaporated
- Place in jars and store in refrigerator
