Receta Orange Chicken

Ingredientes
- 6 x chicken breast halves skin, bones removed
- Â Â Salt to taste
- Â Â Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- Â Â Paprika to taste
- 1 lrg onion minced
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 c. minced red and green peppers (mixed)
- 1 c. dry sherry
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 c. orange juice
- Â Â Warm cooked rice for serving
Direcciones
- Place chicken in shallow pan and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sprinkle peppers, onion, and mushrooms over chicken. Mix orange juice, brown sugar, and sherry together; pour over chicken. Bake, covered with foil, at 350 degrees for 2 hrs. Uncover and bake till brown. Serve over rice.
- Optional: Pour baking juices into pan and add in some cornstarch or possibly arrow root to thicken.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
- Comments: Dish may be prepared, covered, and refrigerated overnight before baking for an even better flavor.
