  • 1 1/2 lb Hamburger or possibly grnd turkey
  • 1 sm Onion, minced
  • 1/2 c. Minced celery
  • 1 can (small) sliced water chestnuts, liquid removed and liquid reserved
  • 1 can (4 ounce) sliced mushrooms, liquid removed and liquid reserved
  • 2/3 c. Raw rice (measure dry)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1/3 c. Soy sauce

Direcciones

  1. Brown hamburger, onion, and celery in a skillet; drain off fat. Add in water chestnuts, mushrooms, rice, salt, pepper, and soy sauce sauce to hamburger mix. Add in sufficient water to reserved liquids to make 2 c.. Stir into hamburver mix.
  2. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour.
  3. Makes 6-8 servings.
