Receta Overnight Bran And Date Muffins

Ingredientes
- 11/40 c. flour
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 13/40 c. unprocessed bran
- 1 c. finely minced dates
- 1/2 c. oil
- 11/20 c. buttermilk
- 1 x lightly beaten egg
Direcciones
- Sift first 4 dry mix ingredients, stir in bran & dates. Combine wet mix ingredients. Add in the dry mix to the wet mix till just combined, cover & chill overnight. (These muffins can be made & cooked on the same day, but are not as nice as if the mix is left to stand overnight). Next day, spoon into prepared pans & bake at 425F for 20 mins or possibly till done. Serve warm with butter.
- Makes 20 muffins.
