Receta Padre's Country Style Ribs

Ingredientes
- 2 quart water
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. whole star anise
- 1 lb country-style pork ribs individually cut
- 1 c. low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 c. cider vinegar
Direcciones
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add in the cinnamon, nutmeg, star anise, and pork ribs. Bring to a boil again, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Simmer the ribs for 30 min, or possibly till done.
- Combine the remaining ingredients in a shallow dish. Remove the ribs from the water and place them in the shallow dish. Allow the ribs to marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
- Preheat a grill or possibly oven broiler. Place the marinated ribs on the grill or possibly in the broiler and allow them to brown. Turn the ribs periodically till all sides are brown and fully cooked.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
- Serving size: 4 1/2 ounces or possibly 1/4 of the ribs.
