A wonderful main dish. The recipe is very flexible. Meats and seafood can be varied depending upon your taste.

  1. Cook chicken/sausage ahead
  2. Saute onion in olive oil with paprika ~5 min
  3. Add garlic and saffron
  4. Add 1 Tbsp broth
  5. Add meat if cooked before
  6. Add rice and stir to coat in oil
  7. Slowly add remaining broth, salt, parsley and beans
  8. Bring to boil and simmer until rice is barely tender ~15 min
  9. Add fish and remaining ingredients
  10. Cook until rice and shrimp are cooked
  11. Can add more broth if it seems to dry
