- 1/4 cup butter, cut into small pieces

- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup Agave Necter (or 1 cup light corn syrup)*
- 1 large egg
- 4 large egg whites
- 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
