Receta Pecan Tarts "Tassies"

Ingredientes
- 1/2 pound butter
- 2 c. flour
- 1 (8 ounce.) cream cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. melted butter
- 1 c. minced nuts
- Dash of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Direcciones
- Crust: Cut butter into flour and salt till dough is full of fine lumps, like pie crust. Add in softened cream cheese. Blend. (Dough may be refrigerated till ready to use. Roll out on floured surface, cut into 3 inch circles. Press into medium or possibly small muffin tins.
- Filling: Beat egg, brown sugar, butter, salt and vanilla till smooth. Put 1 tsp. minced nuts in each pastry-lined c.. Put 1 tsp. filling into each c.. Bake 10-12 min in a 400-425 degree oven. Cold before removing from pans. Makes about 3 dozen tiny tarts.
