Receta Penne With Fresh Tomato And Basil Sauce

Ingredientes
- 4 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil, divided
- 6 x Cloves garlic, chopped
- 10 med Tomatoes, minced into large chunks
- 6 Tbsp. Minced fresh basil
- Â Â Salt and freshly grnd black pepper
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 lb Penne
- Â Â Fresh basil for garnish
- Â Â Freshly grated parmesan cheese
Direcciones
- Heat 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add in the garlic and saute/fry till golden brown; don't burn.
- Add in the tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper to taste, and sugar. Simmer over medium-low heat for 15 min. Stir occasionally.
- While sauce simmers, bring large pot of salted water to a boil. Add in remaining 1 Tbsp. of oil to water. Add in penne and cook 10-12 min till al dente. Drain.
- Spoon penne onto warmed plates. Top with the sauce, then Parmesan. Garnish with basil.
- Note: The analysis includes 1 Tbsp. of Parmesan cheese.
