Receta Peppered Beef With Shanghai Noodles

Ingredientes
- 8 ounce sirloin steak cut into thin
- Â Â strips
- 4 Tbsp. vegetable oil divided
- 1 sm shallot minced fine
- 1 x clove garlic minced fine
- 3/4 tsp fresh grnd pepper
- 1/2 c. green bell pepper cut in 1" strips
- 1/2 c. red bell pepper cut in 1" strips
- 1 c. bean sprouts tightly packed
- 1Â 1/2 lb (750g) cooked Shanghai Noodles
- 1 Tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1Â 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce
- 1Â 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp light soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. dark soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
Direcciones
- Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add in beef and marinade for 20 min.
- Heat wok and add in two Tbsp oil. Add in shallot,garlic,and grnd pepper; stir for 10 seconds. Add in beef and stir for one minute. Add in bell peppers and beansprouts and stir for an additional two min; set aside.
- Heat remaining two Tbsp oit over medium heat. Add in noodles and stir constantly. Add in beef and pepper mix and mix well. Stir-fry till heatedthrough. Season to taste with more pepper if you like. Serve immediately.
- Makes four servings.
- I made this the other night and it was easy to make and delicious. The Shanghai noodles are the large thick ones, I often use the smaller thin oneswhich are similiar to the noodles used when making chow mein. I added snow peas to the recipe and double up on the garlic. [Steve]
