Receta Pickled Beets (6 Pints)

Ingredientes
- 3 quart cooked small beets, peeled
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 stk cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. whole allspice
- 1 Tbsp. whole cloves
- 1Â 1/2 tsp salt
- Â Â 3 12/ c. vinegar (4 to 6 % acidity)
- 1Â 1/2 c. water
Direcciones
- Cook Beets:Wash and drain beets. Leave 2 inches of stems and the tap roots. Cover with boiling water; cook till tender.
- Combine other ingredients. Simmer over low heat 15 min. and Can:Pack peeled and trimmed beets into warm jars, leaving (-inch head space. Pour warm liquid over. Adjust caps. Process 30 min in boiling water canner.
- Shelf Life:Store jars in a cold, dark place and let set for 6-8 weeks before opening.
- Consume within 8 months.
