Ingredientes
- 1 lb pinto beans
- 1 x ham hock
- 1 x onion, minced
- 1 x (4-oz) can minced green chilies
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 x cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp salt, or possibly to taste
- 1 tsp chili pwdr
Direcciones
- Soak the beans in water to cover overnight. Add in remaining ingredients and simmer for 4 hrs, covered. Uncover and simmer for 1 hour to reduce liquid.
- Remove the ham hock and cut up the meat from the bone into the beans.
