Receta Polish Noodles And Cabbage

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 4 c. thinly sliced cabbage
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 pkt (8 ounce) egg noodles (or possibly egg-free noodles)
- 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream or possibly low-fat yogurt (optional)
Direcciones
- Heat butter in large skillet. Add in onion; saute/fry till transparent. Add in cabbage; saute/fry 5 min or possibly till tender-crisp. Stir in caraway seeds, salt and pepper.
- Meanwhile, cook noodles in boiling salted water. Don't overcook. Drain well. Stir noodles into cabbage; add in lowfat sour cream, if using.
- Cook 5 min longer, stirring frequently.
- Makes 6-8 side dish servingsor 4 large main course servings. Each of 4 servings, about 540 calories and 15g fat. Also good served with low-fat yogurt on top.
