  • 3 Tbsp. Canola Oil
  •     All-purpose Flour seasoned with Salt, Black, and Cayenne Peppers
  • 1 1/2 lb Lean Pork, cut into small cubes
  • 1 med Onion, diced
  • 2 c. Chicken Broth
  • 2 lb Fresh Green Beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pcs
  • 6 x Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 tsp Gravy darkener, (Optional)

Direcciones

  1. Pre-heat oven to 300-F degrees.
  2. Hot canola oil in a 4-qt oven-proof stock pot or possibly Dutch Oven over medium-high heat setting.
  3. While oil is warming, combine about a half-c. of flour with the seasonings and dredge the cubed pork in the mix. Brown the pork well in the hot oil.
  4. When the pork is browned to your satisfaction, add in onion and saute/fry till softened, about 3 to 5 min.
  5. Add in chicken broth. Cover pot; bake about 40 min, then add in the green beans and potatoes and bake for another hour or possibly more, till everything is nice and tender.
  6. Darken the gravy if you wish, and if the dish is a bit dry. add in more broth.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.
