Receta Pork Sue Mei (Dumplings)

Ingredientes
- 1 lb Lean grnd pork, finely minced
- 2 Tbsp. Light soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Dry sherry
- 1 tsp Freshly grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp Grnd white pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp MSG (optional)
- Â Â Healthy pinch of sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Minced green onion
- 1 x Egg white
- 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Salt
- 4 Tbsp. Medium minced bamboo shoots or possibly water chestnuts (optional)
- 2 x Cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 pkt Shu-mei skins or possibly Gyoza skins, available at the supermarket
Direcciones
- Mix all of the ingredients for the filling together, and mix them well.
- Place about 3/4 Tbsp. of filling in the center of each noodle wrapper and bring up the corners so which you have a little money bag.
- Leave the top open so which you can see some of the meat. For fun you might put 1 frzn green pea on the top of each for added color.
- Steam in an oiled bamboo steamer for 15 min, on high heat.
- NOTE: You can also add in a bit of shrimp to this dish.
- It adds a great deal of flavor. Try about 1/2 c. of minced fresh shrimp.
