Today I decided to make pumpkin hummus. Probably everyone well knows hummus – chickpeas cream, which is changing the butter in the morning sandwiches. So I decided to try different hummus (if you can call it like that) – not from chickpeas but from the pumpkin. The result surprised me because people who tried it couldn’t guess what this cream is made of. You can eat hummus with bread. The most simple and my favorite sandwich – bread, hummus and avocado.

  1. Cut pumpkin into cubes, put on a baking paper and sprinkle with oil. Heat the oven to 220° C and bake as long as it's soft. If the pumpkin gets dry, pour some water to the baking tray.
  2. Put the baked pumpkin in the blender, grind the garlic, add lemon juice, sesame paste, pepper, and salt. Blend everything up to a solid mass.
  3. Add the hummus to the plate, add some oil, chopped parsley, sesame seeds, pepper.
  4. Enjoy!
