Receta Rice and lentil pilaf

Ingredientes
- 2 Bags diced onions
- 2 Bags diced carrots
- 9 qts brown rices
- 4 qts lentils
- 2 cups raisins
- 1/4 cup salt
- 1/4 cup pepper
- 1/2 cup spice blend- Indian custom
- 3 gals water
- 4 gals vegetable stock
- 3 cups toasted almonds
- 2 cups minced fresh parsley
Direcciones
- Heat oil- saute onions to light brown and soft
- Add rice and lentils and seasonings- cook for 2-3 minutes
- Add water and stock- cover and simmer, 45 minutes or until rice and lentils are cooked to tender
- Add carrots - bring to temperature and adjust seasonings
- Granish with toasted almonds and parsley to server
