Receta Root Beer Chicken

Ingredientes
- 1 x chicken - (abt 3 lbs) cut 8 pcs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1 c. root beer
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 Tbsp. light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp grnd ginger
- 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1/2 tsp onion pwdr
Direcciones
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9- by 13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place the chicken pcs in the baking dish. Season with the salt and pepper. Bake for 45 to 50 min, or possibly till no pink remains in the chicken and the juices run clear.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients; mix well and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 20 min till reduced by half.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat. Coat the chicken with the sauce and grill for 5 min per side, basting frequently with the remaining sauce. Serve with the remaining sauce for dipping.
- This recipe yields 3 to 4 servings.
