Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil
- 2 x garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 lb small black brine-cured olives liquid removed, rinsed
- Â Â (such as Gaeta)
- 1/2 lb small green brine-cured olives liquid removed, rinsed
- Â Â (such as Arbequina)
- 1 c. Basic Tomato Sauce (see recipe)
Direcciones
- In a 12 to 14-inch saute/fry pan, heat the extra virgin olive oil over medium-high heat and add in the garlic. Cook over high heat till golden brown, about two min, then add in the olives, and cook for 3 min, till softened.
- Add in the tomato sauce, then lower the heat, and simmer for 15 to 20 min, occasionally basting with the tomato sauce.
