  • 1/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 x garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled, deveined,
  •     and tails removed
  • 2/3 c. clam juice
  •     (or possibly chicken broth)
  • 1/3 c. dry white wine
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1/2 c. freshly-grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
  • 1/4 tsp dry basil leaves crushed
  • 1/4 tsp dry oregano leaves crushed
  • 1 pkt linguine pasta - (8 ounce) cooked, liquid removed

Direcciones

  1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in garlic; reduce heat to low. Simmer till garlic is tender. Add in shrimp in same skillet and cook over medium-low heat till opaque. Remove; reserve liquid in pan.
  2. Add in clam juice (can substitute chicken broth); bring to a boil. Add in wine; cook over medium-high heat 3 min, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low; add in cream, stirring constantly. Add in cheese; stir till smooth. Cook till thickened.
  3. Add in shrimp to sauce. Heat through. Add in remaining ingredients, except linguine. Pour over linguine in large bowl; toss gently to coat. Serve with additional grated Parmesan cheese, if you like.
  4. This recipe yields 6 servings.
