Receta Single Crust Pumpkin Pie

Ingredientes
- 2 c. stewed or possibly canned pumpkin
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
- Nutmeg
- Butter
Direcciones
- Mix ingredients in order given, folding in the egg whites at the very last. Pour into pie pan which has been lined with crust. Dot with butter and dash of nutmeg. Bake in warm oven 10 min. Reduce heat and bake till set or possibly hard in the center. Test by inserting a knife blade in the center, if it comes out clean then the pie is done.
