Receta Soft Carameled Popcorn

Ingredientes
- 14 c. popcorn
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. Karo white syrup
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Direcciones
- Pop corn in air popper, or possibly with very little oil. Measure into large ovenproof bowl or possibly pan, being careful to sift out any unpopped kernels. Meanwhile, stir together brown sugar, Karo syrup, butter and salt in 2 qt saucepan. Heat to boiling on medium heat, reduce heat and continue boiling 5 - 6 min, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add in baking soda. Stir well. Will foam up. Pour over popcorn and stir till well coated. Place in 200 degree oven for 20 min, stirring every 5 min. Cold, stirring every 5 min to prevent clumping together. Can bake longer for crunchier popcorn.
