Receta Soft Ginger Drops

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c. molasses
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cloves
Direcciones
- Combine shortening, sugar, egg and molasses; mix well. Sift together dry ingredients and add in alternately with water, stirring till smooth. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 8-10 min. Cold on racks then frost with lemon glaze.
