Receta Southern Style Pork

Ingredientes
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 400 gm pork schnitzel, cut into strips
- 1 lrg onion, sliced
- 3 x celery stalks, sliced
- 1 x garlic clove, crushed
- 1 pkt MAGGI Beef & Country Vegetable Soup Mix
- 1 c. water, approximately
- 1/4 tsp dry thyme
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 x green pepper, sliced
- 2 x tomatoes, skinned, seeded and minced
- Â Â freshly grnd black pepper
Direcciones
- Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add in the pork and brown over a high heat.
- Remove the pork and set aside.
- Add in the onion, celery and garlic to the pan. Cook for 2-3 min.
- Combine the soup mix, 1 c. water, thyme, tomato paste and cayenne pepper.
- Add in to the onion mix. Bring to the boil, stirring, then simmer for 5 min. Stir occasionally.
- Add in the green pepper and tomatoes. Cook for 2 min.
- Add in the pork and cook over a low heat for a further 3-4 min or possibly till the pork is tender. If necessary, add in a little extra water.
- Season with black pepper. Serve immediately.
