Receta Spam And Black Beans With Rice

Ingredientes
- 1 c. long-grain rice cooked
- 1 can Spam luncheon meat - (12 ounce) cubed
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. minced green bell peppers
- 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
- 1 can black beans - (15 ounce) liquid removed
- 1 can Cajun-style stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Direcciones
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- In large skillet, saute/fry Spam, onion and bell pepper in butter till onion is softened and Spam is lightly browned. Stir in beans, tomatoes, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, till beans are thoroughly heated. Serve over the warm cooked rice.
