Receta Spicy Apple And Walnut Chutney

Ingredientes
- 900 ml Malt vinegar
- 450 gm Light soft brown sugar
- 900 gm Cooking apples, peeled, cored and roughly minced
- 450 gm Onions, minced
- 225 gm Raisins
- 25 gm English mustard pwdr
- 25 gm Grnd ginger
- 2 tsp Yellow mustard seed
- 2 tsp Mild curry pwdr
- 20 gm Salt
- 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 100 gm Walnut pcs
Direcciones
- 1 For the Chutney: Put the vinegar and sugar into a large pan and boil. Add in everything but the walnuts, bring back to the boil and cook, stirring more regularly as it thickens, till well reduced and thick. Remember which it will thicken even more once cool.
- 2 Stir in the walnuts, spoon into hot sterilised jars and seal with vinegar- proof lids. This will keep for up to a year.
