Ingredientes
- 3 oz vegetable oil
- 2 cups diced spanish onions
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1/2 cup minced garlic
- 1 1/2 gallons vegetable stock
- 3 lbs split peas
- salt and pepper to taste
Direcciones
- In tilt grill - heat oil - satue all vegetables until oinions are translucent.
- In a steam kettle - add cold stock and spkit peas
- Bring to a boil then reduce to simmer for 2 hours or until peas are tender
- Puree vegetables in food processor
- Combine vegetables with the stock in steam kettle
- bring back to boil.
